We are partnering with Pastor Patrick who pastors a church in the Les Cayes area to provide food to the 5 surrounding neighborhoods. We will provide 2 neighborhoods with food each month. This will give us an opportunity to familiarize people with Lion of Haiti and introduce ourselves to the neighborhood as well as give the pastor an opportunity to share the Gospel and invite people to his church.
Once we have cultivated a relationship we will begin a weekly children’s ministry at the church. This will be a basic program which will include food, games, and sharing the Gospel with all who come.
This step will be a longer one and will need to include multiple trips to Haiti, including the first one as a family. In this phase we will raise money to buy land and begin building both our home and the community center in phases. Our goal will be to build in phases so we can begin programs on our campus as soon as possible.
This will be our robust program that includes Trades training, English lessons, and Evangelism Training. We will also run a 2 week program in the summer focused solely on Evangelism training and building up students relationship with Jesus.
This will be the time when we complete the Community center and if it is God’s will, we will be full time in-country. Our goal to reach this step would be by 2030.
