The Heart of Our Kids Ministry
Nourishing Bodies, Nurturing Souls
In a country where consistency is rare, our weekly kids program serves as a place of joy, safety, and spiritual growth. Every week, 40 children gather to experience the love of Christ in a tangible way. We believe that by investing in a child’s foundation today, we are shaping the future of Haiti tomorrow.

A Typical Afternoon at Lion of Haiti
Our program is designed to care for the “whole child”—meeting physical, academic, and spiritual needs all in one afternoon:
- Biblical Foundation: We dive into the Word, teaching stories of hope and guiding children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
- Nutritious Meals: For many of our students, this is the most reliable, meal of their week. As the saying goes, a hungry stomach doesn’t have ears.
- Academic Support: Our mentors provide dedicated homework help, ensuring these students stay on track and value their education.
- Joyful Community: Through interactive games and team-building, we provide a safe space for kids to simply be kids.
Our Goal: Discipleship
Beyond the meals and the games, the heartbeat of this ministry is discipleship. We aren’t just running a program; we are raising leaders. Our team walks alongside each child to help them build strong character, discover their God-given value, and develop a faith that can withstand any storm.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Partner With Our Kids
It costs just $25 a month to provide a child with consistent access to this program. Your partnership ensures that these kids get consistent discipleship and care from our staff! We are looking to add the 32 kids we had accept Jesus this summer by October!! Help us reach that goal!

Support our Staff

We have 3 amazing people on our Kids Club Staff team! Abenz (Left) is our Kids Club Director. He has a background in teaching and so he creates our curriculum and runs the program. Mica and Jeff (Middle and Right) help him teach and manage the kids. Jeff also does a lot of running for us to get supplies and various other things. This program would not be possible without them and they have generously donated their time for the last year!
We would love to be able to actually pay them for their time this year! Our goal is to find 5 donors to give $100 a month to cover their pay.
